Best Senior Living in Carmichael- Hands Down!

From the central, beautiful, peaceful location to the excellent staff running the Atrium, I have found my home and could not be happier. I love the fact that they have remodeled the exterior and interior of the apartments and I highly recommend The Atrium of Carmichael to anyone 55 and older looking to make this their home. Atrium At Carmichael

With the help of a third party, we looked at several independent senior living facilities before selecting the Atrium at Carmichael for my wife's sister, who needs a more structured social environment to enjoy a rich quality of life. The common dining arrangement and activity areas, transportation to appointments and shopping along with organized group activities are providing the atmosphere she needs. The Atrium is nearing completion of an extensive total remodel of the entire facility, beginning with the open and cheery entry, all the common inside facilities including the addition of a Bistro, new washers and dryers and exercise equipment. All of the interior areas have new furniture and framed pictures on the walls. The entire exterior material is being replaced along with refurbishing the outside common areas. In all, a very pleasing and inviting facility. The apartment she selected has been completely updated including new appliances and carpet, not just new paint. We were shown remaining apartments that are nearing completion, clearly confirming the entire complex remodel will be completed in the very near future resulting in a inviting, comfortable and pleasant place to live. We chose the Atrium not only because it is contemporary and very clean, but the staff is professional, accommodating and very pleasant. The lunch and dinner meals are high quality, reasonably priced with ample variety and a published weekly menu. In addition, an excellent variety of shopping is with-in walking distance, including Safeway, Bel Air, Ace Hardware, pharmacy, Dollar Store and banking. Most importantly, in the short time she has been a resident, she has new friends, appears happy and is beginning to truly enjoy life again. Also, should the need arise, third party caregivers will be arranged. From our perspective, the only room for improvement is the guest parking. Adding several more spaces would reduce the need to park across the street.

Perfect for my Mother

My mother is 70 and for the longest time, we've been looking for a senior community where she would not only be accepted and happy, but where she would also be safe. We can't always be there for her, despite all of our best efforts, and that has been something we've struggled with for a while. After discovering the Atrium at Carmichael and touring the grounds, we were incredibly impressed with the attention and care that we had received as visitors. It was clear to us that they care deeply for their residents, whether they're already there or on their way in. We moved forward with the move-in process and my mother has been here for nearly 5-months now. She is very happy and always busy! I can't thank the staff at the Atrium at Carmichael enough! This is an excellent community and we're very happy to have our mother be a part of it.
