This October, the average rent for an apartment in Oklahoma City has increased less than in other surrounding cities such as Edmond, where rents average on $935 after a 2.4% increase, and Norman, where rent went up 3.9% compared to last year, reaching $926.

What it costs to rent in the Oklahoma City metro area

Despite a slight 0.9% increase, Bethany rentals are the most budget-friendly option in the Oklahoma City area, with an average price of $642. At $712 per month following a 1.3% increase, renting in Midwest City is another attractive option. A renter-majority city (64%), Stillwater experienced a 0.5% decrease compared to last year, reaching $836.
