Read some helpful reviews of Snapbox Self Storage at 135 East North Street, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I returned from vacation yesterday to find a notice that my rate for my storage unit is increasing by 50% in two weeks. Given the first month was free this means I only had the original rate for 2 months. I would be more understanding if this increase was after a longer period of time. I am not local to the area anymore so I don’t have any option but to pay the increase fee. My experience with snapbox has been mixed from the start. I do agree with the reviews that everyone I’ve spoken to has been extremely kind. However when I first signed up I received a call saying my signup was incomplete and was sent a link to fill out. I told the woman I spoke to on the phone that the form seemed like the one I just completed but she told me to fill it out again so I did—I ended up being charged for two storage units which when I called and complained they immediately reversed the charges. I was also told to present my private insurance upon move in to avoid the $15/months fee. Apparently I was supposed to email them my policy beforehand. Very confusing and conflicting informations. I am concerned having my belongings at their facility given their mistakes and shady business practices but I have no choice for the next 2-3 months. ... Read more

Best place to store anything! Super friendly staff, Matt is super knowledgeable and Michelle is extremely helpful with setting up everything I needed to rent a unit. The place is super clean, heated, and provided carts to help me move my stuff in. Bathrooms are always clean and smell good. Cameras, a locked coded front door and locks provided make me feel good about leaving my precious belongings inside. ?? If you haven't asked, the units are incredibly affordable. Again, I am really happy with their services. ... Read more

Everything’s been really easy. At first, my rate rates went up, so I moved to a different size which I needed to do anyway. Moving was incredibly easy I called. They set it up. They sent me the links to move out of the old one. Everything’s been really smooth and simple. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Snapbox Self Storage - 135 East North Street include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Keyless Unit Access, First Floor Access and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 250 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Snapbox Self Storage - 135 East North Street start from $10 and can go up to $139 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
