I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience at this storage facility, and it is all thanks to two truly exceptional employees Ms. Virginia and Ms. Mackenzie. From the moment I walked in, they greeted me with warm smiles and made me feel completely welcome. Their professionalism and genuine hospitality set this place apart from any storage experience I've ever had. Ms. Virginia and Ms. Mackenzie went above and beyond to answer all of my questions, walk me through my options, and make sure I felt confident and comfortable every step of the way. They were patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind, the kind of employees who make you feel like a valued customer rather than just another transaction. If you are looking for a storage facility where you will be treated with respect and care, look no further. I wholeheartedly recommend this location, and a huge part of that recommendation is because of the outstanding service provided by Ms. Virginia and Ms. Mackenzie. They are true assets to this team, and I hope management knows just how lucky they are to have them! ... Read more

Easy to move in and out of the unit. Friendly and helpful staff. Answering service is a great addition. Very reasonable prices. One suggestion would be to block UV on all the windows. You’re gonna have some sun bleaching going on. ... Read more

The manager Taren Fox became obsessed with me and terminated my contract. There isn’t enough characters to give my six page details so I screenshotted my story. Life may be good for her as a manager but she is missing some key skills like deescalation and she clearly doesn’t want to be view as a bad person which is completely different from someone actually being a good person. She put her job before her humanity. Being that I saw Taren seemingly often I had a chance to get to know her. As a person she is not as great as she is a worker. As a manager, she does her job by the book. Her character shows she only seems great long as there is a hi and bye relationship. She gets shaky if you stay around her for too long. To me that’s not authentic that’s fake. Update: I had the car fixed two days ago. The car is fixed but I was gone for two days. Seems like whenever Taren can’t track our activity when we break a pattern she comes up close and gives me a new rule. Update part 2: I now understand and realize why I was so open with Taren to begin with. When first arrived I needed a lock for my unit but I didn’t know what kind of lock. Taren stopped me and alerted me that I needed a lock. I asked for more details on the type of lock and she directed me to Walmart so then said I will take care of it. Because I didn’t take care of it the next day Taren stopped me again and said she offered me a “comp lock” with a code and put it on my unit because I have to have a lock. I thanked her. I noticed when I returned her portable jump start later that month that they had locks for sell in the office and I wondered why she didn’t offer to sell me one of her locks with a key. Day after writing this review Taren has removed her “comp lock” and emailed me a two day notice to get my own lock or protocol requires a lock that comes with a charge for the key. I want to buy the lock in the office but I seriously feel this is another attempt to initiate a conversation with me. ... Read more

Having to find a place to store my things was a rough thing after the death of my father. I came over and after seeing the unit the staff made me feel welcome and like a member of her family. This has been a God Sent for me. I feel safe and know that my things are well protected. My girl greets us very professional and always goes the extra mile for her customers. Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Storage Sense - 1702 Fairview Street include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Parking, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 30 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Storage Sense - 1702 Fairview Street start from $40 and can go up to $99 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
