BE AWARE WHEN RENTING FROM THIS PLACE. !!!!!!! My husband and I just recently rented here and someone broke into our storage and stole our valuables. A lot of sentimental items were stolen and some military items. Another unit in the same area broken into and stuff was stolen 2 days ago as well. A police report was made from the other units and the facility failed to call us to make us aware that someone broke into the area. Including us it’s been 2 units so far that we are currently aware of that has been broken into. Edited for update: After putting the review my husband was able to receive some help. The person he spoke to was willing to refund us for the time we rented. I wanted to add that when we did receive the unit the unit was clean and it was easy to rent at a reasonable price. The only reason why I’m only putting 3 stars is because there was some help after and the condition of the unit was pretty good when we got it but aside from that I wish there was a more secure way of keeping our stuff safe. I know that it’s very common for people to put some valuable items in storages or sentimental items so this is why it’s important for me to make a reasonable review. There was a lot of actual sentimental items that we will NEVER get back because we trusted this unit. We never had an issue before renting from other units. ... Read more

Stuff Self Storage runs a fairly clean, fairly well maintained facility. Their online system for payments is easy to use and allows for quick, easy monthly payments. I believe I can also update my gate code if desired. Although the lot is somewhat in decay, it is still maneuverable and safe. They are responsive to maintenance requests and do whatever is in their power to address any issues you might have. They recently have raised the monthly rate on my unit which is somewhat frustrating given that most storage units in my experience do not do this to existing renters until you elect to make some sort of change. ... I had been waiting since December 2018 for a unit to be repaired. I asked to be on the waiting list and confirmed that I was still to be called when the unit was available. This company rented the unit without any further communication and refused to offer any deal that would be comparable. Their only offer was to double the rental fee. I feel this was very poor customer relations. I would be cautious of any agreement with Self Storage under any circumstances. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Stuff Self Storage - 721 West Hwy 50 include the following amenities: Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 72 to 240 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Stuff Self Storage - 721 West Hwy 50 start from $69 and can go up to $180 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
