This is our second time moving away from the area and both times we've used extra space storage (climate controlled) as we prepare our house to sell. This time they're a little further away, and we had other options, but we chose to use extra space again. Their facility is always clean, never any gate issues, staff is fantastic. We've had to upgrade the size of our storage twice now, and they have been extremely helpful. Kathleen ran into some system issues, and was able to quickly find a solution. She was super kind and pleasant to hold a conversation with. 6 years apart in using their services and they're just as fantastic as they were then. Highly recommend. ... Read more

Not a fan. When I moved in I wondered why they had so many red locks locking people out of their own stuff until I got the rate increase myself. Then it all made sense. I knew when I signed up that it was a “promotional rate” I got a 10x20 after one month it went from $171 to $181 when it hit three months they tried to raise it to $260 I called and complained so they said the best they could do was $222. It’s also marketed as temperature control; which maybe some are in a building, it seems, but all the big units are not. I was definitely being charged temp control but not getting it. With the major price increase I myself, single mother, had to rent another U-Haul and move all of my stuff to a cheaper (and better) company. Not happy. ... Read more

Had high expectations of this storage facility because of the climate controlled units, the size I needed, and it was close to base. However it turned out to be the WORST experience I have ever had with storage facilities, and I have used multiple facilities in different states climate controlled and non climate controlled. If you need climate controlled units consider other options before this location. After only a month and half of having my household items and furniture in the unit, I visited to pull out a couple things and came to a surprise of mice/rat poop and piss all over the unit, including my $5,000 couch set, and $3,500 tempur-pedic mattress. After being extremely pissed about this, I brought it up to the office, here is the result of that conversation... the employee working the desk called the manager to notify them of it, I over heard him say "this isn't the first person to complain about that this week". After he got off the phone I asked what will y'all do about this, I was given the option to get a different unit across the property, but I had to move a little over 3,000lbs of stuff by myself across the property.. yeah not going to happen. I was then asked if I purchased their insurance plans, I said no I have USAA he then discussed with me their plans and coverages and that USAA doesn't cover rodent problems and the storage facility does... okay. Then I asked if that covers anything along the lines of my furniture and belongings being covered in shit and piss, I was then given the answer "no, it only covers damage to the items that the rodents tore through" well from what I could see climbing thru the unit there were no damage so no sense in paying their ridiculous prices when it doesn't cover my problem. I told the employee to have the manager call me and he took note of it. Fast forward a couple months, no call from the manager, no solutions to the issue and nothing to compensate the hassle and anger I have to go thru to clean my furniture, so I removed my stuff and found a different place that happens to be cheaper and a-lot nicer and cleaner. Please see pictures attached for proof, the last photo is the aftermath after removing my stuff and sweeping the unit not including the stuff I vacuumed off the furniture and in between the cushions etc. ps. Disregard the rat poison pellets that I spilt, I placed a couple of these in the unit along the high traffic areas, hoping it'll at least kill the rodents responsible for this. ... Read more

This 5 star Rating is specifically in regard to Michelle you works at the front desk, and answers phones- she is outstanding! Professional, pleasant, efficient, appropriate- one if the best I’ve encountered at any Storage facility (and I’ve had three major moves from state to state with storage units involved. (Nit what any of us like to do, but sometimes necessary). Thank you Michelle! You’re outstanding! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Extra Space Storage - 2215 Lebanon Avenue include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 1,000 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Extra Space Storage - 2215 Lebanon Avenue start from $73 and can go up to $853 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
