Nestled in the neighborhood of Sportsman Retreat in Onalaska, you have access to the boat ramp and community center. The ramp enters into Kickapoo Creek which feeds into the north part of Lake Livingston! Loads of recreational activities abound in this area, along with its native wildlife! Deer are abundant and are often seen in the evenings. This quaint, quiet house is simple and fun to live in! It has a nice big covered front porch and a large yard for running around in! There is a utility closet on the front porch housing a washer and dryer and some storage area as well as an outdoor sink and propane tanks. The neighbors all look out for each other and I, the landlord, is there most weekends across the street in case I'm needed. Sorry... not pets allowed that arent caged or in tanks. No smokers either please. There is a main bedroom, and another bedroom. There is a shop on the property but that is reserved for us to keep our equipment and materials in, as we maintain several properties in the area. Please make a WEEKEND appointment to see the place and if you are interested I can send you an application. Available for move in starting August 15th! Come check it out! WATER AND TRASH SERVICE IS INCLUDED IN MONTHLY RENT! Electric, Propane for stove and heater and lawn care is your responsibility. Background check will be required, but no fee to you upon my approval to move forward. Renters insurance for your belongings is highly recommended as there are no provisions with insurance if something happens to them. The deposit of $850 is required before move in, however I can split it up over the first 2 months if needed. It will be refunded to you as long as I have 30 days notice of moving out, and the place is as clean as you received it, and there are no damages to deduct from it. A one year lease is needed for the first year, after that, it will go month to month.
Water and trash service is included. You must put the electric in your name with Sam Houston Electric Co-op and refill propane tanks as needed for stove and heater. You are responsible for the maintenance of your yard. A background check will be required along with proof of employment. At the time an applicant is provided with a rental application, the landlord shall make available to the applicant printed notice of the landlord's tenant selection criteria and the grounds for which the rental application may be denied, including the applicant's:
