Withheld details

The rental posting for our house had pictures of a great big open backyard included in it. This led us to believe that the yard was part of the property that we were renting. Come to find out, that the almost entire yard shown in the picture on the rental posting belonged to the neighbor next-door. The neighbor lets their dogs out unleashed to roam that property and it is not safe or conducive for our dogs. When we were met with the $300 rent increase after our first year, we decided that if we were going to pay that much for a house, we were going to need an actual yard for our dogs. We asked the property management multiple times to make some sort of modification to the extremely small portion of the yard that does belong to this property and we were met with a hard fast no, without any conversation about how to rectify the misinformation and deception represented in the rental post.
