The Suites, acquired in 2011, was developed to offer supportive housing for individuals needing assistance to maintain independence and stability. This community features 81 fully furnished one-bedroom and studio apartments designed to provide a safe, comfortable living environment with access to essential support services.
All units operate under project-based vouchers funded by the State of Colorado-Mental Health Partners and the Longmont Housing Authority. This partnership ensures that residents not only have access to stable housing but also receive the supportive services necessary to address health, wellness, and long-term housing stability.
Supportive housing clinicians play a vital role in the success of permanent supportive housing by providing on-site, integrated services that help residents achieve housing stability and improve quality of life. At the Suites, Clinicians work alongside property management and housing partners to ensure residents are not only housed, but supported holistically.
Clinicians provide individualized support based on residents' needs, including mental health counseling, substance use support, crisis intervention, goal setting, life skills development, and connection to community resources. Their presence fosters a trauma-informed, person-centered environment that recognizes housing as a foundation for recovery and long-term well-being.
Through ongoing engagement, trust-building, and clinical expertise, supportive housing clinicians help bridge the gap between housing and health care—ensuring residents can sustain permanent housing, increase independence, and build a meaningful sense of community.
