RentCafe Rewards is a free loyalty program for applicants and residents at participating RentCafe properties. Think of it as a personal thank-you for being a great renter — except the thanks come in the form of real, redeemable perks.
The program is offered by RentCafe, the online platform that helps renters search for apartments, submit applications, move in and manage their home life in one place. RentCafe Rewards is integrated into the renting experience, helping you get more value from how you rent, without having to go anywhere else. That value comes in the form of points redeemable for rewards, ongoing local discounts and other member benefits.
How does RentCafe Rewards work?
Once you join RentCafe Rewards, you earn points when you sign up for or use an eligible service through your RentCafe account. Services may include renters insurance, internet, security deposit replacement, rent payment reporting and other Renter Essentials. Available services vary by property.
You can earn even more points by shopping saved offers through your RentCafe account and uploading your receipts.
You can redeem your points for gift cards, travel discounts, experiences, merchandise and more through the RentCafe Rewards Marketplace, available in your dashboard.
As a member, you get additional benefits at no cost:
- You have access to exclusive deals at businesses in your area, including restaurants, coffee shops, gyms, car washes and more. You can find and redeem local deals at any time in your RentCafe Rewards dashboard, regardless of your points balance.
- You can activate rent payment reporting for free to have your on-time payments automatically reported to major credit bureaus, helping build your credit score.
Who can join RentCafe Rewards?
You can benefit from the RentCafe Rewards program if you:
- Live in the United States (including the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico).
- Are 18 years old or older (19 or older in Alabama and Nebraska).
- Have an approved application or existing apartment lease through RentCafe.
- Live at a property that participates in the RentCafe Rewards program.

How do I join RentCafe Rewards?
If you have an approved lease application with RentCafe, but haven’t moved in yet:
1. Log in to your RentCafe account
Go to your move-in checklist once you’re signed in.
2. Look for RentCafe Rewards
If your property offers it, you’ll find it in the “For your move-in” section.
3. Complete your sign-up
Click or tap the sign-up button to join the program.
If you already live at a RentCafe Rewards partner property:
1. Log in to your RentCafe account
Head to the “Renter Essentials” section from the menu.
2. Look for RentCafe Rewards
If the program is available, follow the steps to sign up.
