Finding your next apartment should be an exciting experience, not a stressful one. At RentCafe.com, we’re committed to making your search as simple and efficient as possible, so you can find a place you love without unnecessary hassle.

With that in mind, we’ve rolled out some new features designed to give you more control and insight throughout your apartment hunt.

Here’s what’s new:

1. Simplified tour scheduling

Spotted an apartment that looks perfect? Now you can schedule a tour without jumping through hoops. Just click a date in the “Schedule Tour” section, and the contact form will pop up right there on the page. You just pick a time, fill it out, and you’re good to go!

Plus, we’ve also polished up the “Office Hours” tab so you can quickly see when the leasing office is open. Whether you’re planning to call or stop by, you’ll know exactly when to reach out.

2. Explore apartments virtually with 360° tours

If you’re moving from out of state, or just trying to shortlist properties efficiently, we have the right tool for you!

Our new features bring you 360° virtual tours at floorplan levels. Beyond just photos and videos, with these tours you can step inside virtually and spin around your future living room as if you were already there. You can explore select apartments online, check out the layout, and really get a feel for it — all from the comfort of your couch.

3. Check Company Ratings for better insight

Ever find a listing with no reviews and feel a little hesitant? Now, you can rely on Company Ratings to give you a broader picture! This new feature shows you how the property management company is rated overall, based on reviews from their other buildings.

Even if the listing itself is new or hasn’t been reviewed yet, you’ll still get valuable insight into how the company operates. Think of it as your shortcut to knowing what kind of service to expect!

Did you know? The Average Rent page is your guide to smarter renting

Not new, but definitely worth the shoutout: Our Average Rent page is like having a local market expert in your pocket. You’ll find up-to-date info on rent prices across the country, right down to specific neighborhoods. Whether you’re comparing cities or just curious about where the grass is greener, this page is packed with insights that can help you rent smarter.
