I have lived at this property for almost ten years, and until a recent management change always had a phenomenal experience. It wasn't glamorous, but it was reasonably quiet, affordable, and well-maintained. The biggest con was always lack of guest parking. However, an East Coast management conglomerate took over about a year ago, advertising new amenities to be added. After 5 months of construction, we have a half-finished pool deck and same small gym that are only open during office hours because keys aren't ready. The utility charges literally tripled, with a $5/month processing fee just to pay them as the cherry on top. There's a $20/month amenity fee, for all those amenities you can't use, and a half dozen other minor charges to get every last nickel. Month to month rate is literally 4x the leased rate, so unless you have $8K to spare, move carefully. It's disheartening to watch a community dissolve into a numbers game none of us can afford to play anymore.

What I Think

I have lived here for a few years now and for the most part I love it. After this last rent increase I'm not 100% sure the value is still there. I'm going to continue to stay but I like to see the value in what I'm paying for and it seems to be going down.

I'm home here

Having lived here for 16 years, it's home. Just signed another lease for another 14 months. I'm someone who's moved over 50 times, so finding THE place is beyond a blessing. Safe and quiet. Close to everything. 15 minutes to the Portland airport, unbelievable. All true. Welcome!
