Great location, okay amenities (renovating until March)

I like the building location, basically in the center of downtown. Easy access to parking, and building through two entrances. Walkable to restaurants, groceries and Link train station. Many bus stops within 2 minutes of walking distance. Neighbors dont really socialize as much. We have monthly events but none that focuses on bringing people together. Definitely got used to that in my previous building. Overall great place to stay!

Great place for downtown living

I've lived here since Met Tower first opened in 2001, and I've seen South Lake Union transform from gas stations and car sales lots to Amazon and high rise apts and condos everywhere. And Met Tower has gone through changes, too. I will say I preferred the original design and furnishings to the more modern, Ikea-fied style so popular today, but it's a top-quality apt community with pleasant, helpful staff in the leasing office, concierge desk, and operations. The package delivery system is convenient and works well. I do wish the Post Office had assigned an address on 7th Ave instead of Westlake because food delivery and cabs frequently go to the wrong entrance. Being across from the courthouse and just down the street from a police station makes the neighborhood feel safe. It's very expensive, no question about it, but I would certainly recommend Met Tower to anyone who needs to live in the city and can afford it.

Good experience so far

The Met is a good community with several amenities. I've had a pleasant experience so far. Though the infrastructure and appliances are old and do break down, the maintenance staff is responsive and is able to fix the issue. The concierge is polite and respectful. You get your parcels on time and aren't misplaced. They have several great events that bring the community together. I would definitely continue my lease here!

Great to Stay

The apartment is spacious and in the middle of Seattle downtown with everythong walkable ( some restaurants, theatre, whole foods) etc. The amenities like swimming pool, pool table, gym , etc are great. Maintenance is quick, you feel secired in the apartment. Package management is great. However, I would expect some more amenities like TT, and having a good terrace wpuld have been great to enjoy the view of the lake. and some reduced rent around 2700$ would have been perfect for the size I stay in.
