The past few years have been difficult. The current onsite staff does the best but the actual management company and property owners leave much to be desired. Rent increases are happening too frequently. Have to recertify twice a year is excessive and seems to point to a deeper legal issue behind the scenes that residents are paying for.

The value is great, i appreciate affordable housing in a city as expensive as seattle. Maintenance can be slow at times but is improving with Ana. Living on rainier is noisy but the tenants are generally quiet and respectful. The upper/off-site management seems generally unconcerned. Onsite management seems to do their best.

Artspace is interested in profiting and looking good for 'supporting artists' while doing nothing to actually provide a decent quality of life for residents in their buildings. There are problems with management and facilities at all 3 Seattle Artspace locations. These people are not only poor stewards, but sometimes openly hostile to residents.

Getting to live in this building used to be a blessing, now it's a nightmare. Its a story that is all to common, non-profit starts a building to serve a marginalized group. Once the building has made the non-profit look and feel good they forget about the place and leave it in the hands of a predatory management company. Management has become outright abusive to tenants, doing things like serving eviction notices because of their accounting errors. Many of us feel trapped living here, because rent is so expensive in this city we would have to leave the state if we leave this low income building. It's sad that this is what this place has become.

Great place to live. Friendly, considerate neighbors. Excellent location. Management company is a third party with very questionable business and communication practices.

Quantum and now Indigo management have made this building a very unpleasant place to live.
