Home for me for 16 Years and Counting!

Having moved frequently for many years, i expected that I’d be renting at Lions Gate North for a couple of years. As I was moving in someone told me about a lady who had been loving here for 13 years. Well, renewal after renewal and here I am 16 happy years later, still grateful for such a kind and helpful staff and such wonderful amenities! I’ll be renewing again, as usual at this point. Love it here… great neighbors, regular upkeep, and its just a wonderful place to call home for a little or a long while!

I really wish the appliances and thermostat were more eco friendly. I love the complex sometimes its almost too quiet as a whole and other times I can hear my neighbors talking so not enough sound proof between units. I love the location, I love having my own garage. A small swimming pool great for young kids.

Good things, the staff is approachable and easy to talk to. Location and having my own garage is very nice. Gym is small and is open 24 hours and so that is a huge plus. I feel safe here with my child. There is a playground but its more for toddlers. The event spaces are smaller than most other apartment complex venues now. It's only useable after hours if you pay for it. Where as other locations you can go to the huge lounges typically until 10pm without having to pay. Outdated appliances like washing machines, thermostat. Basically not energy efficient. That is probably my biggest complaint. They say they are working on this so that's a positive. The pool is not year around. It could be with heated water. I just visited another complex and the outdoor pool is year around. Maintenance is quick turn around time, just not always happy of the job outcome. In fact my own friends are like we can do a better job and have done so. In a world of reviews I do still think the people are great and I don't what drives motivation in people as we are all living in more challenging days.
