Pet limit 2 allowed. Animals must be at least six (6) months of age. Aggressive breeds will not be allowed. See list for animals not allowed. Animals not listed, but which display substantially similar physical characteristics or traits to those animals listed, shall be treated as though they had been listed. Aquariums will be allowed with a 5-gallon maximum on the first floor only with proof of insurance for the entire term of the lease. Annual $30 pet screening. Restricted animals include, but are not limited to, the following: Reptiles, Squirrels, Arachnids, Ferrets, Rabbits, Piranhas, Skunks, Birds, Other Farm or Poisonous Animals, Raccoons, and Pigs.

Dogs allowed. Restricted breeds include, but are not limited to, the following: Pit Bull, Malamute, Akita, Rottweiler, Doberman, Staffordshire Terrier, Presa Canario, Chow Chow, American Bull Dog, German Shepherd, St. Bernard, Karelian Bear Dog, Husky, Great Dane, Any Hybrid or Mixed Breed of One of These Breeds. (Note: Service animals and Assistance animals may not be subject to this list).

I have lived in Alton Heartwood for about 3 months. The location is great, the amenities are fabulous, and the staff is as competent as it gets. While the cost is a little higher than other apartments in the area, the extra money spent is well worth it.

Alton Heartwood exceeds expectations. The building and units are beautiful and clean. Common areas, landscaping, and hallways are regularly maintained - it feels like a hotel. Property staff is always so kind and helpful. The area is great for groceries, shopping, movies within walking distance but also access to endless hiking trails. Any other shop you could need is a short drive away. Lots of community perks for residents. Its a higher end property but well worth it.

Convinient location and clean new building makes me feel cozy. Staff is friendly and helpful. However there are many dogs, big dogs without face covers, we’ve seen unleashed dogs, fighter dogs like pitbull barking loud and makes poeple scared: I wish this could be fixed to make all residents feel more safe.
