The walls are not only thin but the floors are too. With every step my upstairs neighbors take the floors make a loud creaking sound. I hear them all day and night walking around to the point it keeps me from falling asleep at night when I can hear them walking back and forth to the bathroom probably just doing their normal nightly routine. Sometimes I fear they’ll fall through the floor. Noise makers/fans can only drown out so much…

Crystal came to my apartment quickly and fixed my hot water heater ...... now I have hot water again!! Of course, it happened at night. She came again today, the next day, to make sure I was still good with hot and cold water. She always is very thorough when she repairs anything that I need. Fortunately, my apartment does not have many repairs. I have been living her nearly 7 years...... Go Crystal!!! and The Palms maintenance staff. Sincerely, D Walker

Malibu Palms was my very first renting experience and i can say its honestly amazing! This community stands by and sticks together ???? The maintenance team goes above and beyond for their residents every time. No request has been too big or too small for them to accommodate during my stay. I really wish we could invest more into our complex but i wouldnt even know where to begin. The location is everything, the floor plan layouts are beautifully mapped out. There’s fine dining and still good cheap eats everywhere you look. Not too far from the oceanfront but still plenty close to Norfolk. Quiet but still plenty of children running around playing and accomdations for pets. Its perfect.

Sadly I just recently moved from The Palms Apartments after living here for almost three years. My stay here was amazing! To start the Maintenance Staff was absolutely amazing. Most places make you feel like you are a burden but every time I had a Maintenance Issue they were quick to respond and thorough! The Maintenance Tech Krystal was absolutely my favorite. She was so friendly & Sweet, always made sure she followed up with you, and was able to be very personable while still remaining professional. The office staff was out of this world. I first dealt with Pam who is such a sweet lady and so helpful! Leslie was always a pleasure to deal with she is so nice, helpful, and always made me feel welcome. Every time I called the office she always remembered me and made sure to ask about my son! I don't think this woman has bad days, literally every time I have had a encounter with her over three years she was so nice, thoughtful and just a pleasure to deal with. I loved all the activities they had and the breakfast they offered pre covid. All of my neighbors in my building were friendly. The only thing I would say is Parking is not Ideal as their are very few parking spaces. But maintenance and the Tow Company seemed to stay on it regularly! My stay here was amazing, and it was a nice place to call home! I would highly recommend The Palms, and will defiantly miss the office staff and neighbors!
