I have lived here since March 2014. It is a perfect location since it is an hour from DC and an hour from Richmond, and very walkable to everything in Fredericksburg. Cobblestone always looks beautiful but the building maintenance does not seem as important to management. It is my only complaint however. The train station is only a 15 minute walk as well.

Going on 4 years now at Cobblestone. Great staff, fun monthly resident activities, responsive maintenance crew, parking is a pain (constantly losing spaces for one reason or another, competing for limited spots, building 401 has very few choices while buildings 400 and 420 take limited spaces and often don't use the parking lot by the dog park), good amenities, noise can be annoying (construction, landscaping, neighbors with heavy feet stomping around, etc.).

I've lived here for a few months, and the amenities are great and it's in the perfect location! The only downside is that parking can be limited if you get home after 5-6pm. It's made me think twice about leaving with my car later in the evening, knowing I will likely not have a spot when I return. The visitor parking spots near my building are always taken so I've never been able to have a guest park near my building.
