Nice and quiet. Sometimes someone is parked in front of your building so you might have to walk to your door unless you have reserved parking

I wanted to share my honest experience living at Barracks West Apartments. While the apartments are advertised as renovated, we experienced several maintenance issues with utilities that needed to be fixed after move-in. For a unit that was supposed to be updated, this was disappointing. Most notably, we were without AC for more than two weeks due to an unknown issue. During that time, communication about the repair timeline was unclear. Another concern was noise. Some neighbors were frequently loud and at times seemed disgruntled, which made it difficult to fully enjoy living there. Additionally, there does not appear to be clear organization or consistent management of the trash areas. Trash would pile up regularly, which made the property look unkempt. When signing the lease, we were not informed that there would be a $25 charge for a mail key. This fee was not clearly communicated at lease signing, which was frustrating to discover afterward. The internet service was generally useful and reliable, although it did have minor issues from time to time. During snow or icy weather, I would strongly recommend salting your own area and being mindful of where you park. It’s best to choose a spot where you know you’ll be able to get out and salt around your vehicle if needed, as snow and ice removal can be inconsistent. Lastly, communication with the leasing office can sometimes be difficult. It may take time to get in contact with someone, so I highly recommend keeping everything in writing and ensuring agreements are signed or confirmed via email for documentation purposes. Overall, there were both positives and negatives, but prospective residents should be aware of these issues before signing a lease.

Just moving in ... the townhouse is 2 br plenty of space, new appliances and upgrades. A few "new move-in " things still need to be addressed but I'm sure they will get to those items soon. I think I will like living here. Love the valet trash service!!
