Rude woman from front office

I understand the policy about picking up after your dog. I am usually really good at it (even though no one else seems to be) but the 2 times I failed to pick up after the dog the maintenance man saw me and reported me to the office. Five minutes later I heard a POUNDING at my door and the lady asked me to "step outside of the unit" to have a word with me. No one has ever spoken to me in such a rude, unkind, and threatening manner. She raised her voice at me and schooled me like I was 10 years old. It was early in the morning and I don't know why I didn't say something about the way she spoke to me. This one experience was so traumatizing that it has honestly ruined my thoughts on The Oaks entirely. I understand I made a mistake but I do not need to be yelled at in my own apartment or treated in such an unkind way.

Great place to live

I’ve loved living at the only for even only a few months. It’s very quiet here so I can always do my studies. The maintenance staff is also great: they fix most things within two days! Apartments are clean and well kept.

Great Customer Care

I want to applaud the front desk staff at Oaks of Denton for trying to make my transition to my new apartment as smooth as possible. I had my disposal break down and the SecureCafe site not work on me, but India Valentin, one of the Leasing Consultants, helped me out quickly and painlessly, and for that, I give thanks. I hope the rest of my year at Oaks of Denton is filled with good service like this!

Oaks of Denton

Great if you're a student as campus is very nearby. Parking is good as well unless you have visitors, they'll be towed out of the lot. I understand the frustration being near campus and having students take up resident parking, but there should be a method to reconcile those differences better. Resident noise is not an issue at all but that train is loud, every night, around midnight. That's just an issue if you live nearly anywhere in Denton.
