Mixed feelings

So we have been here almost 3 years. It was a very Rocky start, we moved here from another city to an apartment sight unseen. The apartment was , let's say subpart. In the September heat, the a/c was not working after a 9 hour drive and 4 1/2 hours of moving by myself because my wife has a medical conditions, we have had a give and take with this apartment, and ALOT of forgiveness on my end. Then we get our deposit refund and wow, it was very petty, and disrespectful. I have worked very hard to make this apartment a home where me and my wife could retire, because, well that's sugartree motto, a home you will love ect. Just read the business statement in the lobby. So far it is none of those things, an off road parking lot, negligence of pet owners pickup after there pets, stray cats, noise that rivals a frat house. Now the staff, and maintenance crew, Mr. Rodriguez and team are great, the office staff is very kind. I will leave this review at that. From a corporate level, there needs to be some love put into this facility, or change the logo to, we gave up on caring, come to add more misery to your life.

Not everyone adheres to the fact that these aren't Houses, we basically have our own room in a house, so, you can't put on a concert in your room until 4 in the morning. I mean with this virus going around, people are stressed, worried about how to make ends meet, wearing mask non stop, the last thing we should have to deal with is stress of the one place we call home, our sanctuary and 2nd largest investment. People stealing tow hitches off of your vehicle ECT. The staff is great, that is the only positive at this point. But I will say that there could have been better accommodation through this tough time of people loosing work due to covid19, other than waiving late fees, I'm it's not like I've seen any money being put into laundry facilities, or the look out over oso bay, or this rock climbing park we call a parking lot. It would have been nice to feel like more a monthly check $$$$, with all this I here about "Community" and all. We will see if things improve, as we will be stuck here yet another year.

Living at Sugar Tree

Living here is the best, they have the best price, and the amount of space I have is amazing. I am less than 10 mins away from my job, and local grocery stores. The staff is just so great and always willing to help! The maintenance staff has got the be the best of the best part about living here, they are on your work order before you hit submit. They are on top of everything! The neighbors are friendly, the noise is never an issue, and the rent off the charts perfect pricing for living here.
