poor commiunication

The front office does a poor job communicating with tenants when repairs are underway. Extreme short notice or notice after a project has started. Example, I received an email at 6pm on Sunday evening that I needed to empty out my entire patio closet because repairs were being made to the sprinklers the following day at 9:00am. I received emails saying the water will be shut off 20 minutes after the water was shut off. Very frustrating and inconvenient.

New owners bring unwelcome changes

Not sure what's going since Greystar took over, but this is no longer the place I signed the lease for. Unfortunately, I signed the lease before it was bought over by Greystar, so now I'm stuck with the new owners until the lease ends. Maintenance requests have gotten slower, the package delivery system now means your package now has to be delivered to a third party place, and if it's on the weekend, it's likely your package will be delayed because there are very limited shipping windows for the weekends, and there's no option for a public laundry facility anymore (which would be fine, if not for the fact that we only got two weeks notice about it). I'm not the only person who feels this way about the changes. Several friends of mine who have been living in the community for the past 3-4 years are now considering (or have decided) to leave the moment their lease ends. Location is still pretty good so at least it's got that going for them, but I would've signed a lease at a different complex if I toured the complex at it's current state. At least the staff are friendly, and I can't really tell what's going on behind the scenes so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt and say that they're trying to be helpful to the residents but couldn't do anything about the changes/decisions that were made.

Verde is a great place to live in North Austin

Love this place. Front office is always professional and polished. New management by a Nationally recognized leader in the industry looks promising and about to up the game around here too. While I do not have dogs, I like that they are part of our community. Our professional community range from quiet to friendly folk - it is a real nice mix of fellow residents. The location by the Domain is real nice. The crazy good local establishments and direct proximity to MOPAC is top tier! The location is what brought me into the office and the rest of this community is what has kept me here.
