Good Value but an Aging Building

I like the floor plan, location and amenities. However, the building is starting to show its age. Appliances are very dated- the washing machine sounds like a jet airplane. Doors need to be converted to sliding barn doors to save space and the windows don't open.

For Nashville- a Good Deal

The location is a good one and floor plans are logical. The building is starting to show its age. Appliances are old , loud and temperamental. Units could use upgrades like sliding barn doors and smart storage to maximize space. The gym is too small for the number of units. However, the pool is a good one. Parking is fair. If you live on Madison at a ground level most times you can get parking on street very close to your door. Staff is very good and always responsive.

Feels Like Home

I have lived in apartments all my life, some good, some less good. When I moved to Nashville for work, finding the right place to live, not the new job, was what I was most concerned about. I wanted the ease of a rental, but the feel of a home. I wanted to feel like I was part of a neighborhood with neighbors that were friendly, but still a quiet place. I feel SO lucky to have found Vista. I was set on Germantown and toured every building. While there are lovely places to live here, it was the leasing agent who did my tour that left me with the impression this would be a place I could count on things being maintained and concerns answered quickly. Everyone I saw seemed to be happy to live there. Though I am a cat owner... seeing lots of happy dogs is also a good sign. I've lived here 8 months now and love the building so much, I knew I wanted to stay so upgraded and moved from one unit to another one with a balcony and a lot more light and happily signed on for another 13 months. The team here truly knows their tenants. They are quick to answer concerns regarding the building, seem genuinely happy when we stop in to say hello, and make it a point to know each of their residents and how they might best serve them. They know our names and greet us with genuine questions and interest in how our day is going. The facilities are impeccable. I've seen a lot of apartment gyms and this one always has clean wipes, always smells clean and the machines always work- if you know... you know... this isn't always true! The pool is well maintained and open all year... so yes, if cold plunge is your thing, there you are! My favorite part are the monthly mixers- it's a nice way to meet neighbors in a low pressure environment. I was talking to a home owner the other day who lives around the corner. I was nervous about attending a Germantown neighborhood meeting because I was "just a renter". She said, "but you live in Vista... they are part of the community!" I couldn't agree more.

Inlove living at the Vista, truly the best in Germantown. The staff is amazing and really take care or their residents. Thid place feels like a home.
