I have lived here for two months. The beginning of my lease started out pretty rough with the most intense smell of sulfur coming from the water facets for the first week. I requested help, with no one following up on this issue. After doing my own research, I ended up running the faucets to flush them out myself. Also upon move in, the toilet was leaking, one of the kitchen shelves was falling off the wall, several light bulbs were out, and I still haven't been able to get my living room A/C to come on. I have been able to fix most of these issues through maintenance, but I feel like they should have been fixed before I moved in. I was also never told anything about the parking rules when I moved in, and this ultimately resulted in my boyfriend's car getting towed from our lot. After talking with other residents and the towing company, I found out that I needed a guest parking pass which should have been provided by the leasing office. There are not many amenities, which I don't mind, but the doggy trash cans do not get changed enough and are often overflowing. The neighbors are all very nice, but the overall maintenance of the property/ communication with residents could be improved.

Once the new management/owners came in, things fell apart. Was charged double rent during a switchover which caused an overdraft. Take forever for large service requests. Selling the apartments once the new people came in so now many of us need to find a new place to live when we weren't planning on it. Location is good and the vibe is nice, but not condo worthy, mainly lower income apartments for college age or single people. Would still rent here another year if I was able, but unfortunate of the fear to get notice to leave because our place sold daily. The on property staff is wonderful and helpful to the extent they're able to, then anything that goes up higher is no bueno.

I had no issues living here before Metropolitan took over outside of the noise from the fairgrounds, speedway, and stadium nearby. We knew it would be loud and the location was great so not an issue for me personally. The property manager Lenita id absolutely wonderful along with the maintenance guy Jadie, and for the convenience and good management I was willing to pay more and deal with the noise. However, metropolitan changing systems constantly along a surprise physical rent payment since their new system didn’t work (which we could pay but was not appreciated) has made the last few months stressful. I see neighbors I’ve made relationships with over the last two years moving out so metropolitan can sell these tiny boxes as condos at a premium (not worth it y’all) and I feel like the pros that made it worth living here are now outweighed. I hate moving but I look forward to getting a lot more peace of mind, amenities, space, and less noise somewhere else when our lease is up.

Great location, kind staff. Sorry it’s being sold. Will not be staying due to overpriced purchase sale.
