Rent is 30+% in 10 tears

I love where I live, but my biggest complaint is that the rent has gone up more than 30% since I moved in. The building didn't get 30% better in that time. I know this never happens anywhere, but I wish companies would explain why they increase the rent all the time -- like, all the time. Is the staff making 30% more since then? Also, I wish there were more security cameras in-use so that the behavior of ill-mannered residents can be curbed.

Great Apartment

The location for this apartment is great. It's far away enough from the highway ramps that you don't get the traffic/noise from them, but close enough you can easily hop on and off. Also, the train station is only a block away. If you're looking for a silent apartment, I will say for an apartment building it is quiet, but you will still be able to hear your neighbors, I am just thankful mine are never home. A lot of the residents seem to either be students or healthcare workers. There are only two elevators and can take some time to move. There are dogs in the building so sometimes they do pee in the elevator, but people are generally pretty good about cleaning it. There will always be something you don't like about an apartment building, but overall very happy living here.

Noise

People in the gym are extremely loud; they drop weights at all hours of the night. Last night, people were dropping weights at 2am.
