I've lived here for more than 10 years now and I love the location! It's convenient to shopping, groceries, highways and a host of other things. However, the property is beginning to look 'tired.' While the interior of my unit is still in very good shape, and in-unit issues are addressed relatively quickly, the common areas and the building exteriors need to be updated. The windows in the stairwells don't open, and when attempted, the sashes come apart. The maintenance crew 'repairs' them by putting packing tape on them. The balcony ceilings' paint is peeling off and landing on the porches. The balconies need to be painted, but there seems to be no incentive for the owner to spend funds on the building exterior. For the amount we're paying in rent, there seems to be little re-investment in the property to keep it fresh and up-to-standard for the market-rate rents they are charging.

I moved into my apartment almost 3 years ago. Even with rent increases, I think mine is more than fair for what I get. I have friends who pay similar or even larger rents than I do who have apartments half as nice. I've had a couple of maintenance issues since moving in, and the maintenance team has always been quick to respond and resolve the issues. The property management team does a great job communicating any changes to rent, renovations, or other pertinent information regarding the property. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my living situation.

I've lived here more than eight years and love, love, love the location! Close to the city, close to highways, close to grocery and other stores. It's a secure building with an intercom system that dials direct to my cellphone. We have a main street in front of the building and woods and a creek behind it. The best of both worlds!
