Incredible, apartments in well-maintained vintage building in NW Portland. Original hardwood flooring and tile throughout. All of our units are over-sized corner apartments so you'll have lots of windows with natural light and only 1 common wall. The building only has 9 units in all which keeps everything very private and quiet. The bedroom and the living room are very spacious, unlike most vintage and especially new buildings, and include many storage closets and spaces. There's nothing quite like this remaining in Nob Hill!Absolute best location in Portland's most sought after area, Nob Hill. Walk to numerous restaurants, bars, retail shops, high end grocery stores, yoga, and more. Just a few steps from the famous NW 23th Ave. Street Car stop is right around the corner. Very walkable and bike friendly area.

Beautiful large apartment with character

I moved into this space amount a month ago and I absolutely love living here. It is an older building that comes with a lot of charm. With an older building comes with the maintenance of one but it is well kept and the landlords are responsive. Sound travels a bit easier here than maybe other buildings but I honestly don’t find it disturbing at all. It is a great value and I can see myself living here for a while.

Do NOT rent here

The building is falling apart and at least three units (#2, #5, and #8) have been cited by the Portland Code department for violations. I lived here for 2.5 and finally had enough of the landlord’s abusive emails and lack of communication. In January 2025 residents went several days without heat bc of the broken-down boiler. You can do much better for less money in NW.

Amazing NW23rd Apartment!

Thank you for making my move across the country to the PNW as professional and seamless as possible. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience & for a more beautiful place (with some of the best neighbors) to call home. I will recommend 2244 to friends/family for years to come!
