Place needs updating new paint new floors

Upon moving in, I was initially told that heat is covered in the utilities. However, after settling in, I discovered that tenants are actually responsible for heating costs. It's disappointing to find out it's not included, so I recommend reviewing the lease for clarification to avoid potential issues later on. :-(

One month ago, I moved to this apartment after inspecting it with my neighbors due to a boiler failure in our previous place. Before moving in, I asked the agent about included utilities, specifically heating. Despite being assured it was included, the agreement I received later made no mention of heating. Despite multiple email attempts to clarify and sign the contract, a month later, the agent denied mentioning heating and claimed it's included in the electricity bill. I chose not to sign and decided to wait for my bill. To my surprise, the bill was $434, much higher than expected, as I now had to pay for rent and heat, which I was not informed about. It serves as a reminder to carefully review leases before moving in to avoid such issues.

lived here for a while. some recent changes have started to be made on a very small scale. still much to be desired for the cost of living here.
