I have lived here going on 16 years. like: location, parking, all of the light and windows in my apartment. Maintenance is timely. I believe Manny has been here as long as I and does a great job. Dislike: I miss the days when we had 4 gentlemen who came in weekly on a Monday and washed down every stairwell and swept all the hallways. The building was much cleaner all around. On the SP second floor, trash bags are left outside of apt. doors sometimes 5-6 days. My daughter wants me to move where the apt. has a dishwasher, garbage disposal and washer and dryer. I have been looking around. When I moved in, I asked, Barb about pets. It was NO PETS (which I liked and still do). Today I stepped out the side doors and successfully dodged a mound of feces that must have been left by a Great Dane. I know the company is making money off of them, but I must be the only tenant without one and miss the time when no one had them. Otherwise, Over the years I have recommended the place to anyone looking for an apartment. The location is the the biggest draw, but I could do without the hill. Over the years I have walked up and down it over 4,000 times.

I've been here almost a year and plan to renew my lease. I've enjoyed the unit and building as I'm a big fan of older buildings with real character. Don't get me wrong, it has it's quirks, but what do you expect from a building built in 1928! The sun deck is a great feature as well. Manny in Maintenance has been fantastic and any requests are fulfilled in a timely and friendly manner. The building and neighborhood are quiet which is really nice.

A beautiful 1920's building; it is a peaceful, safe place to live. It is near the University Circle, nice neighborhoods, and gorgeous tree lined areas to walk. The new Property Manager, Michael and fellow staff are very receptive, responsive, and responsible. They do their utmost to help tenants to make their accommodations the best possible.

I have lived here for 15 years. I might be the oldest resident. I believe at the beginning with Barbara's office in the building that things got done faster when she was in charge. The office is now down the street. The building itself had 4 men who came every Monday and swept the hallways and washed each stairwell from the top floor down. I miss that. Manny is the best doing the work that two - three guys used to do. The location is still the best with a half mile walk to Coventry, a half mile walk to Cedar Fairmont and a short walk down the hill to Little Italy. I miss not having a washer/dryer in my apartment along with a garbage disposal, but all in all Lewis Manor is a good place to live.
