Threatening Enviornment

The apartments are modern and look nice. They are, however, cheaply made and I can hear my neighbors cough, sneeze, and snore. I rarely have guests over and I go to sleep by 10. I received several noise complaints and even received threats of eviction. The only noise would be from speaking in a conversational tone or from the TV. I now watch TV with the remote in hand to quickly raise the volume up and down to make it as quiet as possible. I do not feel comfortable in my own home. I wish the apartments were made to block sound or that the situation was handled better. I can also hear my neighbors at all hours and I have been woken up on several occasions in the early morning hours (before 6am) by the noise they make. I have complained a few times only after I was threatened with eviction. My hope was to show it is not just me creating noise. The way the situation was handled creates an environment where neighbors turn on neighbors. I have not moved out because it is hard to find an "affordable" apartment with a washer/dryer or dishwasher.

I love living here! It is a beautiful spot and the apartments are lovely, but they are getting more and more expensive every year that I don’t know how long I’ll be able to stay here.
