Great Place to Live
The New City Gardens is at a convienient location right on main street in New City. Despite being on a busy street the parking is great, with each building in the complex having their own lot; and the noise levels are minimal. If you don’t have a car, the neighborhood is very walkable, walking distance from a wide selection of grocery stores, restaurants, parks, coffee shops, and bars. The neighbord also has a bus stop served by Clarkstown Mini Trans, Rockland TOR, and Rockland Coaches, so you can get around without a car pretty conveniently without a car if you don’t have one. If you have kids, they will attend the Clarkstown Central School District, a top rated public school district. The neighborhood is also very safe, I will comfortable walking alone even at night. The amnities are a bit limited to be honest, there is a laundry room in the basement of each building, but it is only open until 8pm. There is however, a laundromat up the street that is open until 10:30pm. The rooms, however, are very spacious, espeically compared to the price you pay in this area. Overall, i highly recommend it here. Great for families and singles alike.
