This place has lost its charm

Pathetic customer service. Cheap landlord and painful process to get things done

Signed for our 3rd year!

We have a 2-bedroom apartment on a middle floor, and we pay to park one car in the underground parking. We are happy here! The rooms have high ceilings and are spacious enough to contain my partner's large antique furniture without feeling cramped. We are happy to have a place that allows us to keep a dog. This is a complex of pet-lovers...there are many of us. Pet lovers are wonderful people...great neighbors. The grounds and indoor public areas are well-kept. The gym comes in handy on days when the weather is bad for outdoor exercise. The elevator is essential for upper floor living, and there are two of them in case one is under maintenance. There is noise, as we are downtown. We hear the sirens from the ambulances (although they cut the siren a block before the ER entrance). We can hear noise on the street from late revelers on occasion. And our upstairs neighbor could walk a bit more softly, but they don't disturb during sleep hours. Most of the floors are not carpeted, which means that sound can communicate below. But all-in-all, we knew that we were no longer living in our own house and by choosing to live next to the hospital, we expected some sirens. The doors are security locked...and using the fob to enter is an annoyance with a leash and a bag of groceries. But it ensures that we all feel safe. This is a difficult place to enter if someone is handicapped because of the fob and the heavy doors. There is no wheelchair automatic button. But we have managed despite a broken leg for one partner and advanced age for the other. This has been a great place to live with friendly staff who try very hard to see to everyone's needs and friendly neighbors. We are happy to look ahead to another year here!

Nice building - great location

We have lived here since 2017. The building is now really starting to show its wear and it seems like maintenance is understaffed (like everywhere else). But the location is great and the residents are very nice.

Great apartments!

We have only been here since June 2022. We love the apartment! The high ceilings give a sense of a lot of space and the rooms are quite large, accommodating some bulky antique furniture and a king bedroom suite with 2 dressers. The low rating on noise is not the apartment's fault...it's the on-going construction at a new apartment complex just down the block. Since it's summer and window-open time, we get a lot of noise. I'm sure it will disappear as we head into winter. The apartment building also has a great gym with some very helpful equipment right down the hall. We have been very pleased with our experience here.
