Seedy building
While we love living here, the deferred maintenance on the "Luxury" building is beginning to get to me. From the front door where the parking lot and sidewalks haven't been swept in 2 years. The garage is in worse shape. There is so much sand in the garage that it's dangerous. When I get out of my car I have to be careful I don't slide on the sand. The bridge to the garage has so much water damage. Stop stepping over dollars to pick up nickels. Hire professionals to do the major work - like painting the hallways. What a mess! I have to say Melody is one of your biggest assets. She is kind, considerate and caring about the residents and our issues.
Deferred maintenance
It is appalling to me that a tenant moving into The Mill has to pay to have the carpet replaced and gets no compensation from Cass. These are advertised as Luxury Apartments. When we moved in 11 years ago they were...not so much any more. The parking lot hasn't been swept in two years nor has the garage, the hallway carpeting is stained and embarrassing. The trash rooms are filthy. Dryer vents haven't been cleaned but once since we moved here. There is a lot of stepping over dollars to pick up nickels. Deferred maintenance when taken care of in a timely manner doesn't turn into a major repair or replacement. Personally we take care of most issues in our apartment. Asking for new carpeting, which is thread bare, is an exercise in futility. No longer luxury...just seedy. Tragic for such a great building. Our maintenance man, Dave, is good at what he does - very efficient. Melody is amazing! She understands the long term tenants and does her best to expedite challenges we have. We love where we live! Having covered parking and a wonderful balcony are the biggest assets to us. Maintenance is our biggest challenge. Thank you for hearing me out.
highly recommend
convenient place to live, Accessibility for everything that you need, shopping etc. Most of the tenants i have come in contact with seem nice, fairly quiet community, no one bothers you and there isn't any excessive noise. Downtown Glens Falls has gotten very congested, but still a great place to live!
great place
Best apartment i have ever lived in by far! the people the location, i am very happy here. Everything is very close by including work
Our move in
Disappointed with cleanliness of apartment on move in. Staff doesn't let residents know what is going on. Fire alarm has gone off 2 times in 11 days. Hope this isn't a common occurrence.
