Noticeable improvements

After about a year, and this being my first apartment, I have found Saratoga Place to be a comfortable place to live. The location is ideal: a short walk from bus lines and businesses, and a short drive from most anything else. I have found there to be a disconnect when it comes to the maitenance and repairs within the building, its units and its facilities, however. Upon moving in, I was told that a obvious leak from the water heater was just a wet spot from the carpet cleaner, which subsequently lead to my water heater completely draining into my unit and the units below in the middle of the night around christmastime last year. After the initial cleanup and replacement of my water heater, I was never followed up with. Since then, I have done the necessary cleanup and mold prevention myself, but it was definitely an event that could have been avoided for myself and the tenants below had my water heater been properly inspected. Besides this, over the last year I have noticed a handful of repairs and upkeep that have definitely improved the functionality of the building, though small things continue to get overlooked. (The carpet on the second floor was replaced with linoleum, but the washers in the laundry room have mold in them and have for a while.) As I approach my lease renewal, I look forward to continued and more future improvements. Overall, I have enjoyed my first year of renting with Saratoga Place.

Crooks

These people are stright up crooks. They charge you for everything. Try to charge you more after your lease ends and you move out. Never had an apartment charge me after i moved out. Do not rent from anything with the name solomon group on it. Save yourself the head ache.

Needs Better Property Maintenance

Decent value for the money. Pros are that you're close to everything, and it's reasonably quiet. Cons are the property isn't maintained too well. The furniture garbage is never picked up and there is litter around the property.

The Review

I've lived here for about 2 months, and so far it has been great! Being minutes away from Broadway is a huge plus, and the rent price is very reasonable. While it is a tad difficult to get a hold of the staff here in Saratoga, they are very helpful. Overall, it has been a great experience.
