Decent Price, Decent Place
While all apartment living costs have soared, the price what I get here is of fairly decent value. The apartment is spacious and the appliances are standard. The carpets and flooring are what you would expect from a faux building. If you're in the market, this is definitely one of the best options available today. Parking is adequate, security is lacking. They are no gates and frequently, non-permitted, visitors take up much of the parking overnight. The pool does not have enough seating for how many buildings and residents there are, and the gym is lacking space and equipment as well. There are no other amenities one may expect such as game rooms, or simulators that are now standard in many similar properties. The location is very convenient, in that you are right off the Southern State and 110 making access to shopping, airports, beaches, etc. rather easy. The unit's are generally in good condition, and the neighbors are quiet and respectful. The apartments don't have central air, and the wall units are more costly to operate. The wall units are also not sealed to the structure well meaning the cold air leakage during winter drives up heating costs, and the warm (and humid) air leakage in the summer drives up cooling costs while also causing mold/mildew in the hallways, and apartments... not to mention all of the doors warp due to the humidity, making egress/ingress a challenge. We were offered "that just happens in the summer" as a remedy to our complaint. As mentioned, if you have no choice but to rent, this is probably one of the better options available at this price point today.
