It's been ok

I've lived in the building since the summer so I moved in when there was a decent amount of construction going on. That was fine; I knowingly signed up for that. In terms of amenities, there really aren't many that I use. The pool was never opened, the brewery was never opened, the gym lacks a lot of machines for legs and abs, I don't have a dog so the dog wash and dog park aren't necessary, and the conference/meeting rooms have never been open for use. I know construction takes time but it's frustrating to be paying for all of these things to really never have access to them. Parking also tends to be a headache in that certain people clearly have multiple cars and park extremely close to the doors but never move the cars for people to actually have close access to the doors. In the parking lot, due to construction, I had to have my tire plugged after driving over a nail. In general, by the time I'm home from work I end up having to park extremely far away from the door that is closest to my apartment. There's no grocery store nor convenience store nearby which is a bit annoying. The noise has been fine but I am able to hear my neighbors to the point where it sounds like someone is in my apartment. Getting an answer from the staff is usually pretty difficult. I was told upon moving in there would be a better system in the mail room eventually but I've had several packages gone missing in the meantime. The garbage outback was really gross for a while. My dishwasher seems to not dry out so it gets a really disgusting smell after not being run for 2 days. All in all, my actual unit is beautiful and I enjoy it even though there really aren't windows. Everything outside of my apartment is kind of disappointing. I feel like I'm paying a lot of money for no reason. Maybe this coming year will be better.
