Good experience

I've been a resident at Slip 12 just over a year now and so far it’s been a good experience. From the moment I moved in, the staff has been incredibly helpful and accommodating. When I first settled into my downstairs apartment, I knew I wanted an upstairs unit which there weren’t any available during the time frame I needed to move in by. The leasing agent Josh went above and beyond to make that a reality. He kept me informed about an upcoming vacancy and made the transition to my new unit absolutely seamless. The apartment was prepared for my move-in, with fresh paint touch ups and all previous damage repaired. Since then, the Slip 12 team has always addressed any concerns I've had. Even if it takes some time they always do respond in a professional manner. Beyond that, the apartment complex offers some nice amenities. Motor Oil - one of the businesses situated in Slip 12 is a great spot to grab a coffee. It transforms into a lively bar (Fuel & Spirits) Wednesday through Saturday complete with a fantastic happy hour and a resident discount. The outdoor pickleball courts and pool are perfect for relaxing and socializing with neighbors. There is also a Brewery opening up shortly that is sure to be a great place to chill.

Rushed building job for a quick buck

Phase 1 experience not bad: you knew you were signing up to live in a new building with ongoing construction. Downside: constant fire alarms all hours of the day and night but, we signed up for it. The promised amenities like the brewery and pool get pushed back constantly and the brewery is still MIA. We were sold on the dream that these would be done within the first year (they weren't). Phase 2: completely different and went from nice to bad. The right side of the building was built by a different group and was haphazardly constructed. You can hear your neighbors sneezing, eating, and their conversations in detail. Also, the brand new apts needed many alterations by maintenance: large holes in walls, mysterious stains on walls, cracks in bathroom sinks, holes in doorways, broken bathroom tiles and more (this is a compilation of personal experiences and that of multiple neighbors)..not turn-key. Our move-in date along with others in the building was changed several times and multiple people were displaced in apartments that were no longer theirs until their units were clean enough to safely move into. MAJOR lack of communication among mgmt. And lots of turnover. It feels that resident livelihood and comfort aren't taken seriously and we are neglected. Theres only two men on the maintenance team overseeing 200+ units, though, it might as well be one man as Wayne blows residents off and often forgets the commitments he makes in tending to concerns. In addition, even if mgmt does what we request, it's done so late that it might as well not be done at all, again, feels like they dont care about residents. If you are not in college this place is not for you. Often you hear people partying, drinking and frequently smoke inside & including by the pool which mgmt doesnt care about. Not all units have open windows or windows you can see out of and dog poop and barking is incessant throughout. Beautiful space but mgmt ruins it. Disappointing. The quality is not worth the $

Poor Place to Live For The Money

This place has gone way down hill once it opened fully up. There is a true and actual deficit of parking spots. That's not even considering the 3 businesses that leech from resident parking and yet they continue to allow the businesses to take more and more spots which are never occupied. Brought this up to management and nothing has been done for months reasonably leading to people parking illegally I for instance was towed out of a designated resident parking spot and forced to pay out of pocket after I was told by management it was ok to park there after hours. They failed to communicate to the towing company those spots were ok to park in within a designated window. Management is unresponsive and ineffective when dealing with resident matters but beware of not sorting your recyclables. what a joke
