Not pleased

I first moved in four years ago, it wasn't too bad. The staff in the office were amazing! When the Manager, Chris, was around, the place was clean, kept up and he genuienly cared for the property and the residents. We would often see him cruising around on the golf cart, checking to see that everything was looking good. When Chris left and they brought in the new manager, the place started to go downhill. The lack of communication between staff and residents is horrible. Not one of the staff takes any responsibility, not their job. IE, in this complex you are not able to back your vehicle in, you must pull into the spot. For about a month, one of the maintenance staff backed his vehicle in and never once, until I brought it to their attention, did they say anything to him. There is also a car currently that is always backed in, however when I mentioned it to the office, they stated it was not their job. It is the job of the tow company. However, shouldn't the staff also be aware and make sure that residents are following the rules? We are not allowed to hang screens on our porches, however there is an apartment that has a screened in porch. There are residents that leave their trash by their door for days. The speed limit in the complex is 10 mph, does NO ONE pay attention to the residents that speed through the complex. We are not allowed to chain our bikes to the railing under the stairs, but it's ok to chain them to the railing on the second floor right by the door? Maybe if the manager and staff left the office, opened their eyes and took a look at their property, they could fix some of the things that are wrong, instead of pushing the blame on to someone else. I realize we are in a pandemic and want to make sure that residents are safe, but the price I pay for rent and to have no amenities, seems a bit unfair. And the office is always locked, must it be? We wear masks! Maybe it's time to get a manager in here that cares about the residents and property.

I Love My New Home!

I am very satisfied with my choice in Prelude at the park as my new residency option. I am being completely honest there has been a few concerning things that could have changed my opinion completely, but the staff and maintenance have completely handled all the issues I have encountered, and they did it with the best attitude and they were always very prompt and successful at solving whatever it has been. I honestly can't complain and would 100% recommend this property to anyone.
