Good Location, Lacking Modern Amenities

Great area for the schools if you have kids, walkable neighborhood, lots of small local businesses to support. But the lack of central HVAC and laundry in-unit is just abysmal in 2025, especially considering they'll put laundry in-unit for some of the newer renovations but don't seem to offer any options to add it to a current unit. It's nice that the heating is included in rent until you realize you can't really control it at all and the system is so old that it's always either too hot or freezing, depending on the day and weather. The staff is always friendly but clearly the rich suits up in North Jersey don't give a hoot about the folks who live here.

I've lived here 7 months. It is quiet and the grounds are well maintained. The maintenance staff is excellent. Parking can be an issue. Common areas need work, and more than just sprucing it up. The common areas are the first thing that a prospect tenant observes.

Great Location

Very comfortable experience, minus some hiccups here or there (although they might not necessarily be a managerial problem). Wish the radiators turned off earlier in the year.
