The Walcott Hackensack

I’ve been living here for about a year, and it’s been great with no complaints. The only thing I would suggest is adding another StairMaster in the gym or a squat machine. It’s been a great experience thus far.

I’ve been living here for about three months now, and I genuinely love it. The space itself is great, and the building has a really welcoming feel. The concierge and staff are always friendly and helpful, which makes a big difference. The amenities are solid. I use the gym regularly, and while I haven’t tried the pool yet, I’m definitely looking forward to it. The rooftop barbecue area is a nice touch and has a great vibe. One of the biggest perks for me is the location. Everything I need is within walking distance, which is super convenient. And having the bus to New York City just 50 feet from the building is a huge bonus. All in all, I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a great apartment in a convenient area. I’m a big fan.

I enjoyed living at the walcott. There could be some improvements considering the cost of rent but overall enjoyed my stay here. Maitenance was the absolute best and handled everything in a very kind and efficient manner.

As a resident, I have found it increasingly difficult to communicate effectively with the management office. It often takes several days to receive responses to my emails, which makes it challenging to get timely answers to important questions. Additionally, scheduling an appointment with the staff is a frustrating process. Furthermore, the information provided by the management office is often lacking, as they frequently need to consult higher management, leading to additional delays. This has made the overall communication process inefficient and unsatisfactory. I would love to deal with a staff who is friendly, patient, and able to answer all my concerns in a professional and timely manner.

The Walcott is a beautiful building but there are so many in the area now that the competition is high. The prices here are just as high as most and the amenities are similar. They cut concierge hours which should have made the price go down but it didnt. Parking is fine, its first come first serve and i typically get a decent spot but its $100 a month for parking and jot even assigned, which other buildings do better for cheaper. Building noise is fine but outside is loud as expected on main street. The maitenance team is the best part of the building, those guys are great. Everything else is pretty standard and could probaboy be found cheaper elsewhere. Pool table and gym are nice. Havent been to the pool yet. Dog park is convenient but some owners are just disrespectful and dont clean up after their pet.
