Hi, I really love living at the Ivy. The very few things that I think we could be doing better are: 1) Please limit the grill cleanings to late morning or afternoon hours. It's usually done between 7-9AM on Saturday morning and could be disturbing to residents and wake them up. It's very loud. 2) The leaf blowers are really annoying. 3) The gym is great, but the TVs are in the worst positions. They're built into far walls and cannot be seen at all from where the cardio equipment is laid out. In most gyms, you have the cardio equipment facing the TVs. Or maybe the cardio equipment could have TV streaming connectivity. Also, there is no water fountain in the gym. 4) The weekly food trucks are a very nice addition. 5) I really enjoy the on-site resident events, whenever we have them. The had a few nice events over the last year. I just wanted to call out the summer pool party, which I think was open to outsiders, and might have been over-attended, and they ran out of hamburgers halfway through the event. I would honestly prefer not allowing outsiders if it means that the building residents don't even get to have a hamburger. 6) A lot of issues last summer with the chlorine/chemical imbalance in the pool. There were quite a few unexpected shutdowns.

The building is beautiful and very well maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful. It was a big change to move from a house to an apartment. So far, I am enjoying living here, and glad I made the decision to downsize.
