Great place to live a quiet location with lots of dog, friendly neighbors, but grounds and the common areas are not high priority and it shows. Wish we had more amenities for the rent, but happy with what we have. The caretakers are fantastic and are always available when needed, could not ask for better folks.

Been here for 4.5 yrs now and really love the area and my unit. Rent has increased 7% 3 years consecutively. The complex doesn't have much for common area amenities for the money. Management would benefit from getting better scores and renter reputation by giving the grounds and common areas a lot more attention with timely mowing and snow removal. Grass is in very poor condition with many bare spots, crabgrass, weeds, dandelions dominate the green space. Bushes, trees, and shrubs are not regularly trimmed. The pond has algae that grows and blooms even in the cold, and at at times during the warm days in the summer, it seems to "boil" on the service. Rain pushes the growth down into the pond and a new bloom develops. So now there are layers upon layers of algae muck. It needs to be treated and aerated to oxygenate healthy growth getting choked out by the scum. Maintenance is quick to address issues with appliances and other requests.

When we made the decision to downsize we intended to rent until we found the market to calm enough to fit our needs, but after 8 months in our Prairie Properties unit we are forced to rethink our initial plan. The staff is reaponsive, the layout and location is wonderful and love the entire experience.

We really love our place and the location. The caretakers for our community are Great!!!! There is a common path for walking the dog or taking a stroll. Not much else for amenities such as a pool, clubhouse, workout facilities, or any other typical things you see in apartment/condo communities elsewhere. I've noticed little to no upkeep and maintenance to grass, bushes, and general landscaping. The pond is overgrown with algae that is harmful to pets with no aeration or treatment of the water. This growth is due to goose poop. Summer of 2022 they finally put some decoys out on the pond to alleviate the goose population that did help a great deal, but once the decoys are gone, geese are back. In the winter, the snow removal is subpar. The common drives have excessive ice build up. I would note if you are disabled or have limited ability you might want to make sure you mention your needs upfront.
