I’ve only lived here for a week so far, but from day one of communicating with the office and in our move it has been seemless and just a very pleasant experience. The neighbors i have encountered have been friendly and respectful. The ammenities are also a nice bonus that I’m hoping to be able to fully make use of in the near future!

I have lived at Hawthorne for only a few months, but I could not love it more! Not only is the staff so incredibly kind and personable (they all know my dog by name), but the location of Hawthorne at Oak Ridge is AMAZING! We are 15 minutes from downtown here & while some say it is expensive for the space you're getting I believe that it is the best deal. I don't know about you, but I rather be somewhere that people care so deeply about me, my maintenance requests and making sure I'm enjoying living here, along with being in the perfect location then if my apartment is big or not! I highly recommend living here!

This is one of the best places I’ve lived since moving after college. Everything from the community, to the office staff, and maintenance crew is absolutely fantastic. They have such heart and compassion for the residents and what they do! The community events are always thought out, and enjoyable. The maintenance crew takes great care and focused detail into what they do around the property. I am always welcomed when I visit the office and they show interest in who I am and what I do beyond being a resident. I couldn’t have asked for a better place for my wife, and I to call home! If we ever find ourselves back in Greensboro and looking for an apartment, we will look no further! We moved to a Hawthorne property in Orlando, Florida and it’s not the same. They need to take a page out of Oak Ridge’s book!! Thank you to all of you for giving us an incredible home the past 2 years!!!
