No barrier to heavy overhead walking/stomping

Colonial Grand at Patterson Place is a nice community. There is only one serious problem that may deter me from renewing my lease. Unfortunately, there is no barrier in the flooring that protects me from the heavy footed neighbors overhead. Some days I am subjected to hours of stomp walking starting as early as 7 or 8 am. Ground floor residency comes with expected compromises, but this is issue is difficult to deal with.

A great experience at Colonial Grand

We have really enjoyed our time at Colonial Grand. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were very happy with the floorpan and the large balcony overlooking the woods. We rarely heard any noise from our neighbors and everyone in the community was very approachable. I like that there is a diverse group of people in the neighborhood. I often found that I had the pool and gym all to myself, albeit on weekdays. The apartment, pool, gym, and garage were all maintained appropriately and on the rare occasion that we had to have maintenance come out it was done expediently. If we weren't buying a house we would certainly renew our lease here.
