Once renowned as the largest grain exchange in existence, the Board of Trade Lofts building was erected in 1924 as home to the Kansas City Board of Trade. Today, the building has been painstakingly restored. Great care was taken to maintain many of the original, ornate elements: the decorative terrazzo floors, polished Missouri limestone walls, and facade depicting the various commodities once brokered in the large trading hall on the 14th floor – now home to some of the city’s most luxurious penthouses.

Board of Trade Lofts offers a range of studios as well as one- and two-bedroom units. Numerous destination spots and the streetcar are in short walking distance. Upscale amenities abound including a fitness center, complete with modern machines, a Jacuzzi, spa, tanning bed, and indoor swimming pool.
Residents will enjoy our computer center, equipped with wireless internet and our large clubroom with indoor putting green.
Security is covered from top to bottom by courtesy patrol, keyless entry system, digital telephone access for guests, and attached garage parking.
On-site management, maintenance, dry cleaning pickup and delivery are merely a few of the countless other amenities also included. For more details, contact our office at (816) 283-6400 or use the online contact form and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

My personal experience

Parking isn't included, but plenty of monthly garage parking options available. I'd recommend getting into a garage, as it would be better than parking off street(lots of local bars and drunk kids in this area enjoying local bars. My car has been hit close to 5 different times and all on a Friday Saturday or Sunday). Security in the "secure building" isn't living up to its suggested value, but not a big damper as it has many valued trade-offs. Be sure to check all options in the area before committing.
