A Completed and Signed Pet Addendum MUST accompany EVERY lease where the tenant has a pet in/on the property for a period exceeding 24 hours (including dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles, or any other animals). Unless previously approved by Operations Director There are a limit of two (2) pets per rental unit and a maximum allowable weight of thirty-- five (35) lbs. per pet. Pet Rent Unless previously approved by Operations Director, pet rent will be calculated as follows: One pet 25 pounds or under: $25.00 One pet over 25 pounds: $50 per month Two pets: $75 per month Non Refundable Fee A separate FEE is required from any tenant that has a pet NON-ESA pet. Unless previously approved by the Director of Operations, Pet Fee’s will be calculated as follows: One pet 25 pounds or under: $250.00 One pet over 25 pounds: $300.00 Two pets: $400.00 As noted above this is a non refundable fee and will not be returned. Pet Fees are due PRIOR to move or on lease renewal if being added at that time. Pets may NOT be added during the term of the lease, and if a non approved pet is found to be residing on property by management, it will will result in a lease violation requiring removal of the pet and a $500 Fine.Cats allowed. If you are looking for a nice place to live in Independence then Cimarron is the place. First, Margo the property manager is amazing, she is patient and works for her residents just as for the corprate. She is respectful and goes above and beyond. Maintnenace is great also.

Placing work orders is easy & things get repaired with in a week. The only negative is communication is difficult. Calls are not returned & voice mail & email request go unanswered. When staff answers they are very helpful.

I like the Cimarron apartments. Especially the staff. They are always very helpful and kind. They maintenance crew is always prompt to show up when you submit a work order. My only small complaint is the parking. I wish there wasw more parking in the lot for guests. Blue ridge is too busy and crazy to leave your car parked on the side of the road for an extended period of time. Other than that I have no complaints. Our neighbors are quiet. Never had any issues. I would def recommend these apts to anyone looking for a place. As mentioned, im thankful that the staff are so kind and they seem to really care about the property and the tenants.
