Property Description
Just moved in
Ive only just moved in today but staff was very friendly and helpful and the apartment was proffesionally cleaned.
It's a place to live
I have been living at The Edge of Uptown Apartments for over six months now, and my experience has been mostly positive. The apartment itself is spacious and well-designed, with modern fixtures and plenty of natural light. The kitchen is fully equipped with up-to-date appliances, making it easy to cook meals at home. The location is nice and convenient, close to shopping centers, restaurants, and public transportation, making it very easy to run daily errands and commute. Parking is also nice and offered at a fair price, which is a significant plus. However, there have been some challenges. The downstairs neighbors frequently knock on our floors during "non-quiet hours," and management has failed to mediate this ongoing issue. While maintenance is generally responsive, there have been instances where I had to put in a request a second time if no one responded initially. The laundry facilities are nice, but sometimes the machines or the card machine used to load money onto the laundry card are broken. Fortunately, these issues are usually resolved within a week or so. There has been quite a bit of change within management since I moved in, but the current landlord is responsive to any concerns I have, which has been reassuring. Overall, despite some inconveniences, I am satisfied with my living experience at The Edge of Uptown Apartments and would recommend it to others looking for a comfortable and convenient place to live. Let's hope they don't raise our rent too high this upcoming new year!
Comfy, great staff, good neighbors,
Lived here 3 years - no complaints. Overall, pretty quiet and respectful neighbors (residents). Staff very responsive, helpful, and friendly. My apartment has been very comfy, sunny, and fully functional so far.
Ok for now
It is s convenuent location but getting old. Wish i could pay rent wirhout having to go through this
Quiet and Friendly
I've lived here for 7 months now and so far I enjoy living here. The location was the main reason why I like living here. It's very close to uptown, lake Bde Maka Ska, and other restaurants, parks, I like how the apartment I live in has a dining area for a table. The carpets are okay, not the softest. I do wish I had laundry in my unit but it's down the hall. Only thing I wish was that I could pay for my laundry with my digital wallet instead of having to load ONLY CASH into the laundry card they provide you. I have had great interactions with the staff that work in the leasing office. They are very understanding and willing to find solutions to any issues I bring them. There has been a switch in management a few times since I started but they always find a way to respond to me. The parking underground is very much worth it. I hate shoveling snow off my car while also managing my two year old so the underground parking saves me so much time and gives me a sense of security overnight when my car is out of sight. Overall, its a great place to live and I am wanting to renew my lease!
