DO NOT LET THE LAKE FOOL YOU

This place has been a major inconvenience to our lives. Our move in date was pushed back for weeks due to delayed inspection. Though they did end up accommodating us to another building it was not the floor or view we had anticipated. Never mind the floor and view…that’s not even a problem compared to what we have experienced. First of all, everything is poorly built and extremely cheap. It might look nice but living in the apartment is a whole other story. Our fuse box has leaked water, a light fixture has leaked water, and the pipe to our sink disposal came loose and sprayed water everywhere (practically flooding our entire kitchen). Not to mention at 3am we heard water dripping to find a light fixture leaking water! They had to cut the water and electricity! The AC is as loud as can be and it’s not strong enough to reach the bedrooms. You’ll need to leave your door wide open for the AC to flow in at all times. The dishwasher is also abnormally loud and doesn't do a good job leaving your dishes clean. There is absolutely no proper storage in our two bedroom two bathroom apartment. Absolutely none. The laundry room has no room to store laundry necessities! There’s no storage for cleaning supplies or towels. You’ll need to rent a storage room and a garage on top of your monthly rent. But thank god for the free month of rent right? NO SIKE. The free month of rent is the least they could do for all the problems to come in the future. The free parking for the building is first come first serve. There’s no assigned parking. The occupancy to parking ratio makes no sense whatsoever. If you don’t rent a garage and there’s no parking left…tough luck. They also claim to be a private lake but there are non residents who park in our spots and enjoy the lake. This could be easily fixable with assigned parking IF THEY HAD ENOUGH PARKING SPOTS! There’s also key fobs to get into your building and your door.
