Great place!

I have lived here for just over five years. I/we really like this place because we don’t have to do yard work or shovel the car out of a foot of snow. Although, if you have an option to get a garage, do it! Worht it. I really like the open concept living and that we can have our own laundry set-up. Not everyone enjoys driving in “said snow” to the laundromat, espcially in Maine. Our first floor location is pretty quiet for the most part, you do need to remember that this is still apartment living and noises do take place. The complex we live in is very close to groceries, the highway and great places to eat. I domt think they could have planned it better. I would defintely recommend this place to friends!

Dog-friendly but expensive

This apartment is in a great location, close to the highway, South Portland, and Downtown Portland. The units are comfortable, the kitchen and bedroom are a good size. Overall I enjoy living here and have developed wonderful friendships with some neighbors. Maintance is usually quick to respond, while other things take longer than desired to be remedied. I do think theyre asking too much for rent, as well as adding on random fees this year - which the rising renr should have covered. Im glad we can have dogs with few restrictions (such as size).

Like the apartment

The first 3 years were very nice. Starting last year quality and response time for maintenance went down hill. We are still waiting for the weather stripping under screen door never got fixed. Always some form of excuse why its not done. Now weather stripping under big door is come loose. Landscaping is iffy. But we sure do like our neighbors.

Townhouse Feeling

I enjoy the full kitchen and large living, bedroom, and bathroom - it has a townhouse/condo feeling while being a rental unit, which I enjoy. Maintenance is usually fairly quick to respond; some issues can take longer to be resolved but often through no fault of their own. The dog park is considered an amenity, and while it was something that drew me to the place, it leaves something to be desired as it can really only be used less than 10% of the year (when it’s covered in ice or snow). The rest of the year it’s a stinky mud pit with no good drainage and an unusable and broken picnic table. It would be worth Maine Properties to have a look to see how it can be improved - fix the drainage problem, fill in the holes, give new seating, and maybe put down wood chips like at the Westbrook Dog Park near Hannaford. With increasing rent, but not increasing amenities, this little fix would greatly improve for many of the renters, as at least half have dogs that would use the dog park more often.
