Ebonee is really dang good at her job, give that woman a raise immediately. Also, the staff in general are very friendly :)

The apartments are decent and in a walkable area with good views. The staff are never here and the "concierge"/package service is non-existent. When I first moved here, there was someone always manning the front desk and accepting packages. Since the pandemic, there has never been a concierge since and packages are left haphazardly all over the place. There is someone who comes over from the other building sometimes to sort packages. The leasing staff will sometimes accept packages and sign for them, but again they are rarely there. I work a 9-5 (not at home) and have occasionally had an important package and had to take time off work to be home to accept it. The maintenance staff is good, but you can never speak to a person directly when calling emergency maintenance after hours; instead you leave a voicemail and are left with a promise for a callback. One time the fire alarms went off really early (2am) and after evacuating and finding no fire, the firemen could not figure out how to turn off the alarms. Everyone tried calling emergency maintenance but no one received a callback. The firemen were concerned we could not reach a human directly, but ultimately had to leave us with the alarm blasting. The alarms went off for over 4 hours and are extremely loud; we had to sleep in our cars to get away from the noise. The apartment did nothing about it. The fire alarm does go off fairly regularly because it seems faulty, but usually more in the day/evening. It is extremely loud though, and likely harmful for pet ears if they are left there without someone home. The gym is really tiny and not well kept. The rooftop is nice, but I would recommend getting an apartment with a balcony instead. The walls are kind of thin, so we can hear everything going on in the halls and have sometimes had issues with neighbors. The finishes in the apartments themselves are not luxury but pretty builder basic. The closet space is great and the kitchen and bathrooms are a good size.

I've been living at 2 E Wells for about 8 months now. The location is pretty decent, about a 15-20 min walk from the harbor and close to a park. The unit I am in is spacious and reasonably priced. The gym here is ok. There is a smith machine, free weights, mats, and a couple treadmills and bikes. There is only 1 working treadmill though. The staff here are nice and helpful but are sometimes not available at random times. The maintenance are pretty quick to respond to things and usually come within 1 or 2 business days. The noise has been pretty loud sometimes in the day but only because of new construction nearby, but sometimes there are loud cars and bikes during the night if you live in a unit facing the street.
