I've been living in the Allston Apartment for one year. The location is perfect, right next to the east side of Hopkins's Homewood Campus. The apartment itself is old, therefore not super cozy, but it's well-maintained. The apartment is on North Charles street, so there can be noises outside even at late night.

Its location is really good. It just takes 5 minutes to go to the JHU campus.

Overall, living in the Allston has been a good experience. It feels safe, the staff is pretty responsive, inside the building the noise levels are good and the noise problems are from outside the building, and the laundry facilities are helpful. What would make the apartment better would be for each unit to have their own washer and dryer inside the unit.

The location of The Allston Apartment is excellent! It's next to the Homewood campus, so it is convenient for Johns Hopkins students and it feels relatively safe. It takes me only 3-5 minutes to walk to CVS, restaurants, Barnes & Noble bookstore, and bus stops. Although the apartment is old, it is clean and well maintained. The staff are very helpful and friendly.
